Kraków

Kraków is the second largest city and one of the oldest cities in Poland. In 1978, Karol Wojtyła, archbishop of Kraków, became Pope John Paul II, the first Slavic and non-Italian pope in 455 years. Kraków's old town is one of the first of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
